In honour of World Suicide Prevention Day. Hosted by Neil Shah, Chief De-Stressing Officer at The Stress Management Society, and guest Joey Kolirin, a mental health coach and public speaker, this transformative workshop will focus on three themes:
1. Alone vs Lonely: This theme focuses on how to understand the difference between being alone, the neutral state of being without the company of others and feeling lonely (the emotional state or disconnection from others). Learn how we can embrace solitude without feeling lonely and how to foster meaningful connections with others.
2. Humans as a Herd Animal: In this theme, we explore the concepts of humans as ‘herd animals’ with a natural tendency to form groups and engage in collective behaviour. Through this, we recognise the importance of social connections and belonging for a better mental and emotional wellbeing.
3. Creating Connections: This theme allows the discovery for strategies on how we can build stronger relationships, fostering a sense of community. Learn how we can overcome barriers to communication and connectedness, creating a supportive environment for personal and professional success through this.
