Hello. I am looking at this printer today- i am a landscape photographer and want to make my own calenders. Whats your opinion on the ink holding up? And can it print on 8.5 x11 inch and other various sizes? I want to print larger also, so just curious. Thank you. More curious about how much ink i will need to purchase.

have you had any success printing documents longer than 36" ? I found a forum online that says it can handle up to 74.1" but I haven't had any luck with custom size longer than 36"

Do you happen to know, can you use other kinds of paper in it? like If i wanted it to print on watercolor that isnt on a roll? Cause I really like the custom size paper printing

That part I'm not for sure honestly. I'm pretty sure you can, but it's all about if the ink will do well on the watercolor paper.

Hey ! If you watch my first video of the set up of this printer. I mentioned how it came with a pamphlet and within it there is a link to direct to a page to download everything you need.

I can't find a way to keep this printer from printing a whole 24"x36" page every time I try to print just a portion of my image, as a test. I tell it to just print the selection (in Excel), and it shows the portion I want to print, but it always prints all the blank area too, wasting all that paper. I've even cropped my whole spreadsheet down to just what I had selected, but the HP _still_ spits out an entire huge sheet. Any suggestions?

I had this issue a couple of times. If you have the " print preview " extension this is a very helpful feature before printing out documents. But sometimes that still doesn’t work. The best thing that has worked for me is to uninstall & re-install the software. It may seem tedious, but I've done it twice & it works everytime. I hope this was helpful.
