@@naweedakram It's my pleasure. i actually just built the Idiom logic based on using this tutorial, but stored a lot of the DeviceInfo available and DisplayInfo into a Property Class which i can now call and get the Exact Idiom and other properties so i know how to handle them, a little more granular but it's great. Hello, Very good tutorial, however how to implement this when using Shell as it is recommended for Maui? is this the official way? Maui is cross platform and dont have a native easier way to decide? I read the Onplatform and Idiom... but not sure if those will be deprecated soon. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

KZbin removed my question. It was about auto wiring the view model. Which video (if already done) can this be found. I have some possible sample code already from the CommunityToolkit. BTW, nice job. I don't know if this is the best way but it is very interesting approach for the project I am working on.

I always found responsive UI to be challenging, hence I came up with this concept. This is more manageable, at least for me.

What about Shell? How would your method work if the pages were served through Shell?

I haven't tried it on Shell. I am personally not a huge fan of Shell and never use it. I think this technique will NOT work with Shell routing.

I'm new to maui, but I think the platform folder is for something that he wants only use on one platform, for example using google maps on Android and waze on Ios

In this case it is maybe better to use OnIdiom rather than OnPlatform but OnPlatform is good for the demo

Yes, that works. But unless you are lazy loading the content views, performance impact will be there.

I'm not recommending this way android these day have dynamic width like the galaxy fold or the surface duo 2 to make the best responsive design we have rely on width change and visual state
