At 04.11 the text is in Spanish, it should say "because when doing it with geometric shapes"
And at 06.18 I call this part of the laboratory Rooster Clock when it should be "Broken Dreams Vault"
I wanted to reupload the video without the errors but since it's already published I think it's worse to change it now.

You should look to Ratchet & Clank for how to do a third-person shooter camera. Pull the camera back and upwards, so you can see where you're shooting, and the character's body doesn't get cut off.

I do think the mothers butt could be smaller. In the pictures you showed it didn’t seem to really stick out behind her, so maybe make the torso and legs smoothly transition into each other? Just a thought, you’re doing AMAZING work!! :)

I really think you should learn how to do stuff in Unity, Gamemaker 2, or Unreal. The amount of work you do on these games is extremely well done and you could do so much more with more open and fluid tools.

I think the middle camera position works best for the shooter. This way you can see the threats more clearly coming from your left and right. Might be important depending on your enemy placement.

It feels like the camera in general is a little too tight on Dexter. It feels like he's giant. I think it would look better if the camera was pulled back a bit more.

I think the over-the-shoulder camera works best, but maybe bring it a bit higher and a bit further away; so Dexter's model doesn't take up a large portion of the screen.

My personal suggestion is to make the room on the far left Dad's game/trophy room. The middle room the bathroom and the far right room that leads to the back patio and the pool. Just my suggestion, though. You can do it however you want.

I was about to say this but someone have already said it, with the insane amount of weapons the series had, you should make the shooting more similar to Ratchet and Clank. One think I'd like to suggest is Dexter's leg movement animation when he runs/walks should be a bit more faster (with the iconic walking sound) like in the cartoon. Kinda like Mr. Krabs, but not too fast.

It would be really cool if you took inspiration of games like Psychonauts, Jak and Daxter and specially Ratchet and Clank for the combat system, and keeping the melee combat to a minimum. If was making a 3D platformer game I would take notes from some things that Nitro Rad says in his reviews, especially his Psychonautes and Rayman reviews where he talks what makes their gameplays flow so smoothly from platforming to combat.

Absolutely amazing work! You can recreate so many different art styles, keeping them very close to the original even in 3D. I do think the mother’s bottom should be more smoothed into her legs. Maybe just stretching that sphere downward a bit so it’s not such a perfect sphere. Also I agree with a lot of comments about the camera. Keeping the camera above the character but dragging it back, lifting it up and tilting it down. Looking down at Dexter a little bit, that way you can see everything in front of you. It also makes Dexter look smaller, which kinda fits his character anyway.

These shows need good modern games. I'd kill for a free roam ish Dexter game. Something akin to Simpsons hit and run but obv not all about cars. And as someone said in the comments, same goes for Powerpuff girls. Also interestingly enough, Genndy Tartakovsky was involved in making LittleBigPlanet games. Made by the studio Media Molecule. Who made Dreams.

First off; shooting over the shoulder definitely feels best as it gives a unique perspective change while also making the design of the weapon you're holding much easier to view. Next, I think it would be neat to see some of the inventions be usable alongside weapons/combat. Perhaps you can choose to take one invention with you at a time per level with a dedicated button for using said invention. For example, the slow motion device could definitely help with combat as it gives them more time to react, and the shrink ray could add more replayability to levels as players could go back to use that in order to access secret rooms. Kinda makes me think of the lego games and free play. The clones could also be used in levels kind of like the clones in mario 3d world, and if you die then you simply take control of the clone thats still alive. LOTS could be added to levels with the inventions, you just gotta be creative! And finally, i just gotta say, the mother's dumpy doesnt really sit right, pun intended. The legs and the rear should be part of the same shape, and as the two cheeks collide they will naturally form a crease. Just make sure to smooth it out a bit so that crease isnt TOO provocative. Anyhow, great work as always! Glad to see projects like this do so well!
