I am like what one could call me kind of a distracted goth/crime-fan simmer, because whenever I try to do something specific in my game play I sometimes get board trying too hard and I just go back to the Spellcaster or Vampire criminal sim thing and lately I am hooked on criminal spellcaster gameplay.

My best friend growing up didn't realize she had developed type 2 diabetes as a 12 year old (a mutation in some virus or gene i was a kid i dont remember) and she was unresponsive in her room at home and her father called the ambulance. Thankfully one of the paramedics was diabetic and recognized the signs of diabetic coma, checked her sugars and gave her insulin right away. She's alive and healthy at 23 because of that random paramedic coming to work that day, needless to say we were both super, super happy to see that I could make her and actually have the sim have her glucose pump on her arm!

I am Legacy, but also rotational and a storyteller. I like building extensive family trees, but I am invested in every family that exist in my town and the story of their interconnections. Everyone I add as ‘filler’ I end up caring about. I don’t tend to cry when senior Sims pass on if they’ve had a decent life. I just look forward to the shape of the next generation.

I am definitely an occult simmer but I have really enjoyed playing a legacy (mainly NotSoBerry for the aesthetic and gameplay but also every generation marries a different occult!) and I have definitely been an evil simmer sometimes lmao I REALLY wish they’d give us fairies again. They were so fun in 3!

I like all of these sims, they're all so cute! The steamy sim kind of reminds me of Rihanna. Before I clicked on the video I thought of that type of shipper drama simmer who looks cute, but casual, showing heart gesture like twitch streamers and eating popcorn and match-makes sims and then makes them cheat on one another and the steamy type is almost that. I don't know what type I am though, I like creating sims and building houses more than anything, but when I do the gameplay part I'm close to legacy one except I don't focus on big families(I probably would get bored), and then I just install chaotic mods and turn into that another type :) The thumbnail gives me Melanie Martinez's newest album vibes.

I'm definitely a steamy simmer haha (sometimes occult too) I don't even know the last time I did family gameplay.. I want to try it again at some point, like have a cute family living in a cottage with animals on a farm in Henford.. but I feel like I will just end up reverting to how I usually play and the mother will turn into some serial adulterer and I won't even play as any of the other family members lol, not ideal. But I'm determined to try and switch it up and stick to that if I do! Love these sims, you captured each style so well :D

I'm a type 1 diabetic and I was so excited about the addition of CGMs! I just wish that there was a full insulin pump like the medtronic one that I'm on and the ability to actually make your sim a diabetic or have any illness/disability really. Because I'm currently making Matt Murdock/Daredevil who is blind and even though I've downloaded a cc cane, it doesn't quite work when he's reaching up and ends up waving his cane everywhere. And it would be nice to have my personal sim really be able to represent who I am, insulin pump and all!

I’m doing a legacy challenge at the moment, middle of gen 5’s childhood. But this legacy started with a mermaid teen raising her infant brother on her own in celebration of the update. She is somehow magically still living… I’m going to get around to having an alien in this challenge soon too. So I’m both the occult simmer and the legacy simmer. I’m occasionally into the more steamy vibes, but only within their perfect relationships

I actually cried when I saw the Dexcom sensors and insulin pumps. I had been literally trying to find cc for diabetics and there isn’t any 😢 and then they did that update and I. Literally. Cried. I was so happy and felt so included. My Gracie sim has a Dexcom 😂

I'm an...experimental Simmer? Having played on and off since the first game came out in 2000, I now do WHATEVER. My main playstyle is kinda...a mix of all the ones in the video? Like, I have a legacy family right now that has ALL the other Simmer-types in it as fun twists. It started as rags-to-riches with an Occult founder, and along the way I had a (failed) attempt at a Steamy Sim, a generation where they were all born to different husbands because the Mom was a BLACK WIDOW (Evil Simmer, checkin' in!) and the general wackiness would be...how I mix everything into one family and do things like naming them all after place-names. (For example, the possible 5th-generation heir is named "Boston".) So that's pretty much ALL the styles. I do bits of everything to mix it up, and also just to try out gameplay styles and content that I haven't really tried before. If I narrowed it down to one descrption, I guess technically I'm "Rags-to-Riches Single Mom Matriarch Legacy....With Twists". I guess my overall BASIC, structural, type of playstyle is family? but I toss in all kinds of other things along the way, as long as they don't take so long that they take the legacy COMPLETELY off the rails. But occults, rags to riches, black widows, sleep-around Sims, random hobbies, becoming a celebrated author, selling magic potions from your own shop, becoming obsessed with grilled cheese and trying to become a movie star--are ALL still on the table. Sure, it'll make the having and raising kids part more complicated, but we wouldn't want a NORMAL life around here, would we......? Aka, their lifespans are long enough (under the Normal setting) that if you're careful and strategic, you can have your wacky random cake AND eat your successful, long-lasting legacy, too. ...ummm...that didn't come out right. Can I have a do-over? :P (Also don't feel too bad about all the Black Widow's offed husbands--I had her studying magic in-between changing diapers the whole time, until she learned the De-Deathify spell. She cast it on all of them, one by one. They are now actually fine. :P Also also, since SHE was never the actually oofing them, _I_ was, she got a Pristine Reputation and everybody in the town loved her. Poor tragic widow and single mom. I'm sure the fact that she married her latest husband in a place literally called "The Red Wedding" venue is nothing to be concerned about.)

I used to be a legacy player. I had a family that I'd been playing with for I think 9 generations. Then my computer updated and I didn't have the skill or friends to save my data, so I lost that entire save file. I've had a couple legacies since then, but I tend to play Occult most of the time these days.
