Creating distressed grungy texture on recycled cardboard.

Watch how I recycle corrugated cardboard and create a sheet of grungy distressed texture.
In this video I used

A small stiff paintbrush

I love both versions. Never ceases to amaze me that so many beautiful projects can be made from stuff that could've been trashed.😊 I have aproject idea for the family the next time we Go on a camping trip, I'll have the kids pick some things up in the forest to bring back to me. I'll be the one taking pics of them doing the gathering. I'd either frame the pics after glueing them to the pre-prepared corrugated boards or make a family outing day memory box. So muchfun either way.

Thank you 😊 💓. Just remember to make sure the crystals are completely dissolved before putting them in your spray bottles. I've recently started dissolving them in a shallow glass dish to make sure they are dissolved. Have fun xx

Can I ask how much of the infusions are you putting into your little squeezy bottles?

It all depends how strong I want the colour to be. In one of the little mister bottles, I put probably a quarter of a teaspoon (about enough to cover the bottom of the bottle in a reasonable layer ) I do make sure all the crystals are dissolved before putting the spray nozzle on, it helps stop blockages .

I love this technique and will definitely be trying it. Can I ask if there’s a reason you chose to use the infusions in spray form, rather than powder + water? Do you lose the walnut in the spray as all the hues mix together? Thanks.

Thank you. It was just what I had to hand, so that's the reason I used the sprays. I think I will try the powder and water another time. The walnut does mix with the colours in the sprays, but I love the vintage colours it gives. Have fun !

Thank you , probably about one eighth of a teaspoon to a mini spray bottle, which I think holds about 35ml
