I’m interested in an appendix holster. Are they usually made so they carry higher, meaning more of the gun is visible above the waistband? Also, what is the purpose of the wing?

I prefer hip because I don’t think I own anything small enough for above penis carry. But that wing when I put it on it can’t be seen.i actually didn’t touch the screw on ANYTHING I just threw it on and it was fine
