Creating intersections

A short tutorial explaining how to create the insertions of different geometric shapes. This is one of the best exercises for artists to practice as they teach so much about form and construction, as well creative drawing.

I never thought that the longer, almost vertical intersection would also be ellipsoidal, i always drew them as straight lines. That was very helpful, thanks!

Great video - thanks for sharing. This is the only tutorial I can find that deals with intersecting 3D shapes. If you ever get chance to do a follow-up I'd be really grateful - specifically, how to draw two or more cuboids which intersect at an angle. I can't work out how to calculate where the intersect points are etc. Driving me crazy!
