I have had dreams where I am walking through an older house and the rooms are filled like your workshop. I have many of the same types of things plus a room full of fabrics. I am also a quilter so I used to buy old quilt tops from 1800s to 1930s. Since they were never quilted the fabric is like new. I really love watching your videos, and the speed in which teach. I've learned so much. I also want to know if you are looking to adopt...I'm 64 but I would like a sister! Lol . Thank you

great idea. I have been lugging around old encyclopedias I bought at a garage sale a while ago through moves, and whatever changes I may be going through.. I see some old pictures on some of the pages that I have thought of turning into pendants, but your idea is such a creative way to use them, and sometimes the nostalgia of the news or stories, etc.. that wind could wind up on a card can be funny or catchy to be a funny thing to save for someone else that may wind up with it with their new earrings, etc... Sometimes it is fun to save the packaging, so possibly at times it still doesn't wind up in the trash. Always love your videos. Thanks for sharing your way of doing it. You have so many great thoughtful tips.

Gail, before you use the pages with pictures for displays, why not try to transfer the image to your jewelry? there's lots of info on how to do this with a copier.

I have seen those, I might try that sometime. I was thinking of making or finding a bezel and using resin to seal it. and making it into a pendant, or something like that, but I know there are so many options, thanks for menitoining that.

Yes!!! it is almost a set published about 50 years ago. Some of the topics and black and white pictures are comical. I have to be careful, I don't think I am a hoarder, but I have had to move to a smaller place and downsize. I have supplies and tools and projects in progress. I have a Murphy bed so I can lift it up and turn my bedroom into a workroom, lol. At least with polymer, the things used are all smaller than some other interests you might get into. I tried it some a long time ago and wondered if some of it would be too tedious for me. Thinking of making a cane just was overwhelming. Now my thinking on it is different, so I am really enjoying these tutorials you are providing and seeing what I can do with it. You are like the Mary Poppins of polymer clay- you make it seem like a snap, lol

I would so love a stack of encyclopaedias, I want to make a couple of side tables out of old books, and encyclopaedias would look fantastic, glued together in a twist pattern, but I have to go that extra mile, I would hang some crystals here and there on the stack then maybe get a glass top for it.....one day maybe! I stick to practicing with smaller books!!

ma'am, i have a question that i have been thinking about,......in India, i have seen people selling jewelry on the streets and well i noticed that sometimes there are people who want to buy them but think that the price is too high and when the seller doesn't go lower than the price the buyers want, they pretend to walk away only to quickly pocket one of the pieces.......so how do you avoid such things from happening at your sales because you put in so much effort and time into your products only to have them stolen by the stingy buyers.....how do you stop such a thing from happening?
