Hey I had the same problem with my desk & ended up covering it with white woodgrain contact paper. Worked like a charm & has held up for 5yrs so far! Wayyyy cheaper!

If you want a cheap solution use furniture foil. There are so many colors and textures. Went from white to walnut.

great revamp to your working space! just wanted to warn you tho... be careful of using words on youtube that shouldn't be used, especially one of a certain platform, even when speaking playfully to your cat... I think it's better safe than sorry. I've seen other channels be super careful with how they talk about that platform.. Wish you well Abi!
