Those trays are to help hang wallpaper. Half fill with water and put a loose roll of wallpaper in it. Then just pull on the end of the roll and apply to a wall.

Lol!! I figured they had nothing to do with gardening but wasn't going to let that get in my way!

@@JTBear They have holes so not for wallpaper, they do have some that look similar for wallpaper with a spindle for paper roles to hang in a water bath. Those are railing planters to grow flowers, they come with metal hooks to hang over railing top board. Also I love goose berries too, have many around my veg garden.

How long does it take to root?

Give is an update on the free riding mower you picked up a couple years ago. You try blowing snow with it yet?
@JTBear2 жыл бұрын
Haha, never did try moving snow with it! Having some issues keeping that thing running, I may now know why it was free to take away!

You can just tent peg them to the gound when they are that long.

Hey Brother Bear, Have you been watching Cumbrian Homestead? Woody just ripped out almost all of his gooseberry bushes... Can't sell the berries anymore, in the north east of England at least, gooseberries have fallen out of fashion.

Can't say that I have but mine are stickin' around! In my world, edible is always in fashion!

So, how do you use those berries? i personally can't eat all the gooseberries fresh from the bush i have at my grandma's. i hear some people make gooseberry jam and use it on pancakes.
@JTBear2 жыл бұрын
Jams would be great but most of our just get eaten up while we are working around the yard. One of my favorite plants to graze on! :-)

@@JTBear They are tasty but sadly not everyone likes them :( are your gooseberries more on the sweet or sour side? PS: i pick all the berries every year and put most of them in the freezer for later use, i personally find it being the worst berry to pick because of all the stingers on stems.
@JTBear2 жыл бұрын
Ours are a bit on the sweeter side once they get to that wonderful purple, very tart before then though!

Plant them under all of your bedroom windows and NO ONE will break in!

Just curious if you could tell me how long they take to root like that and what season is it best to do it in.
