Could you please make a video showing creation of a shortcut which would let you highlight photos in Photos app and send them via WhatsApp? It would need to contain command to first Save As as a file into Finder and then WhatApp is able to work with those files and send them.

I don't think that app provides any Shortcuts actions. So you wouldn't be able to do it.

Thanks Gary for another incredibly useful video. It's a shame you can't make a videos directly from the images as GIF has limited colours which may degrade the image quality.

One way is to simply make the Shortcut a Quick Action so you can select the files first, and then use the Quick Action. Then the files would be the Shortcut input. You basically start off with the files already a part of the Shortcut.

I’d be interested in some basic combining photos in macos. Now i use pixelmator, but i wonder if there is a simpler way to : add 2-3 pictures from clipboard, mive them around + add some notes annotations. For annotating i use skitch but it is nit possible to use with multiple pictures … macos’ annotating in preview also wont let me paste another pic from clipboard … any ideas? Thx

Pixelmator is a good option. You say you want a simpler way, but what you are trying to do isn't a simple thing (add 2-3 pictures from clipboard, move them around + add some notes annotations).

I am enthusiastic about technology and I think it shows in the videos. I do not try to slow myself down or alter how I talk in the videos. I just try to be myself. I know I can’t please everyone all the time, so no matter how I did the videos there would be a few complaints. But I know that if I tried to tone down my enthusiasm or be someone other than who I am, then there’s no way I would have made this many episodes over many years. I do provide transcripts for each video, and there are speed controls, pause and rewind too. In KZbin, for instance, you can use Shift+comma and Shift+period to slow down and speed up the videos. Pressing C will turn on/off captions.
