I literally made this living room in The Sims 4 and for the bookshelf I used that birds tree trunk from cottage living and size it up and just put the books in the holes, it ended up so similar to the picture!

So I don't use the Sims 3 camera but if you are I think you have to use ctrl + 9 and on Sims 4 camera just the 9 key, you can check with the camera on the top right, if that doesn't work then 🤷‍♀️

Just a tip! In the purple gamer room, If you put the laptop on the floor dining table from snowy escape, in size that table down, It would have been the same height as that table and also functional and they will just sit on the floor in front of it and use it!!
