Creating Shabby Chic and Rustic Spring DIYs and Thrift Flips

*Myra, I thought I had watched all of your videos, but I went to your main channel page and then selected "unwatched" videos, and this one from 4 months ago popped up‼️ Well, I am glad I did, because I just watched it, and all of your projects were SO GOOD❣️👍🏼💜* *The barn print is so pretty, and you took a wedding sign that a bride would only use once and turned it into a beautiful piece of decor that can be used all year‼️😉🍁🤎🧡💛* *I am CERTAIN your grandson was tickled that you mentioned you were making this "Puppy Love" 🐶 🐕 box just for him in your video. How exciting that the whole DIY process was captured on video so he can watch how you decorated this custom box just for him and his treasures.👱💙 Such a precious gesture‼️💙 Since your 2 granddaughters more than likely claim several projects you have made as their own, I am sure he was thrilled to see what you had made for him. 😊 Perhaps the next thing you could DIY for him (and create on your channel so all of your subscribers could see it) would be a lamp. My vision is that you find a clear glass lamp that is hollow inside. I am sure you have seen them. The intent is the owner of the lamp fills it with treasures meaningful to them. I have seen people layer colored sand, fill their lamp with shells, 🐚 some have filled theirs with faux orchids...you get the idea. 😁 I was thinking you could fill his with the Legos he loves, and even have a few Lego things assembled to add to all of the loose blocks inside the lamp as conversation pieces, facing the outside of the glass so they are easily seen. These could be whatever objects he loves to create with Legos...and only the 2 of you would know what those Lego creations would be meaningful to him. Cars⁉️🚖 🚗 🚘 Trucks⁉️ 🚛 Trains⁉️🚂 Tractors⁉️ 🚜 And then you could do something special with the lampshade, like add decoupage paper to further enhance the theme of the base of his lamp. 😉* *So CLEVER of you to adhere a cute picture OVER THE TOP OF A MIRROR with a GLUE STICK and turn it into a darling framed image of a little girl praying 🙏 with her kitty❣️🐈‍⬛ The gold highlights really enhanced the white frame, Myra❣️🤍🤎🤍🤎 BUT MY FAVORITE PROJECT TODAY IS MRS. COW❣️🐄 Holsteins are such lovely cows 🐄 💕 and typically they have such good dispositions.😅 I know from the comments that you don't think you are good at mixing colors, but if you decided that you wanted your roses in the moulds to be painted after all, couldn't you just use the "Petal Pink" paint that you used in a recent video? It doesn't need to be a PERFECT MATCH to the roses on Mrs. Cow's hat, you know, LOL❣️🐄 💕 Sorry for writing a NOVEL, but one last thing. My daughter and I both love cows. (I only have one child.) When she was growing up, she had her own bathroom. We decorated it with a cow 🐄 theme, and it was SO CUTE❣️😉*

*Oh❣️ Forgot to say the Sunflower 🌻 Pedestal for your Mother's kitchen turned out so charming and pretty❣️ It's going to look great in her kitchen, alongside of the Sunflower 🌻 Birdhouse 🏠 you also made for her‼️😎 The addition of the flower and butterfly 🦋 moulds and the yellow dots 💛 really enhanced the look of the pedestal. I betcha your Mom L🌻VED IT❣️*

I love them all Myra, but I'm partial to the sunflower pedestal. I think I've shared this already, but my best friend past away from Ovarian Cancer way too soon and sunflowers 🌻 were her favorite flower so I've incorporated them into my home decor in her honor ♥️🌻🙏✝️ Much love from Texas ♥️🤠

I love the little cake stand, it's got such a happy springtime vibe.The cow is adorable too, I just wonder if the flowers would integrate better if painted the same pink as those on her head. Super cute anyway. Gold around the edges of the tray really set it off nicely. LOVE the barn!

Thanks so much friend. My granddad raised cows and I loved milking when I was little. I can still remember the smells both good and not so good. Such great memories. But my granddad would have picked on me for that picture of the cow. 😂. He would have said cows don’t have flowers on their head but I sure do think she’s pretty. Have an amazing weekend 💕💕💕

Thanks for your question. I wasn’t sure how much of the paper I was going to use. Also, if I use the back side of it for another project (which I typically do) I didn’t want any paint coming through in the spaces between the slats. Have a great weekend
