Bintattery seems like a reverse Slaking 1st evo is always excited, reversing Slakoth's tendency to well, slack off- 2nd evo is tired, reversing Vigoroth's vigor And the Spearized form is excited again, reversing Slaking's tendency to slack off returning I can see these two having some type of rivalry or something with this connection!

NGL, I'd prefer if they stopped making weird battle gimmicks each generation. It stops being exciting and surprising to become repetitive and it takes time and resources from the development that they don't exactly have to spare, given the deadlines they work with.

@@dinndinn-q7s It was exciting when they first introduced mega evolutions, but now having a new one each gen feels like they're just filling a checkbox. And there's no much more they can do before they start feeling like copies of each other (they have already played with stats, moves, abilities and types, the only thing left without touching I can think of is some kind of weather or field). Fifth gen is probably the best one of the saga and it had no special gimmick whatsoever. It's about making a good and polished game with neat characters and locations to discover, not about creating some eye-catching mechanic to be the focus of the game and then disappear.

I like my ghost types to be less of just ghosts (dusknoir, Gengar, good pokemon, but theyve never been my favorites) but more animalistic or object based (Houndstone, Dragapult, Decidueye, Basculegion, Palossand, Litwick, the list goes on). Pangrudge is one of the best examples i've seen of a ghost pokemon ever.

i agree with this but in a way that i’m on board with (not saying you aren’t, can’t tell from your original comment) a neat play ive seen is people using intimidate pokémon alongside neutralizing gas weezing, your intimidate mon gets sent out first and gets the attack drop, weezing comes out to nullify abilities, then when weezing goes off the field intimidate procs a second time without needing to switch out your intimidate mon, which i find reaaally gimmicky and fun so that’s why i personally like the sound of bintattery’s ability

Late comment, but for Mastick (which I love) the tail actually resembles a morning star, as is the reference picture you used. Morning stars differ from maces by having those spikes. A mace may have a “ribbed” sort of shape, but don’t traditionally have spikes. Morning stars are called that because the spikes are reminiscent of stars. Flails are often mistaken for morning stars. But a flail consists of a handle, chain, and something at the end of the chain that inflicts damage. Unfortunately, these three have become super mixed up in pop culture and most people call all of them mace or morning star. Sometimes interchangeably.

MAN. This is already one of the best Fakémon regions of all time. The concepts and the mon themself are all just SO GOOD My team as of now would be Thothorn, Wrestlangur, Ghargoyle, Dehvaran Breloom, Pangrudge, and Bintattery Civolt and Bintattery are some of my favorite Fakémon ever. I know I’m biased because it’s both my favorite types and I really like civets and binturongs but still, the concept and design of both are just so good. Keep up the great work!

The panghost line is one that i absolutly love! Not only are pangolins one of my favorite animals (they looks so cool and cute imo) the ghost typing is my favorite aswell! The lore behind it is amazing too! I didnt even know they were trafficked, i feel so bad. Even tho i dont enjoy the spearrisen form design, i like the lore behind it. Dont get me wrong, the artist did an amazing job, i just dislike the slimey look. I wish the pokemon was real, probably would be one of my top 3 favorites. Huge props to you and the artist

I ADORE the Pangrudge line. I’d say I’d use it on my team, but I don’t think I’d have the heart to bring one to minimum happiness. Perhaps I’d catch one in a raid (assuming those would exist) to use! (Also, evolving something at absolute minimum friendship might be actually impossible- Pokémon gain friendship when leveling up.)

Okay, but being able to turn playable Pokémon into boss battles akin to raids would actually be a pretty great mechanic. I can imagine that it immediately turns the battle into a multi battle and that the boss will fight solo to compensate for the difference. They’d go down relatively quickly, but could potentially devastate a team first.

Hey man, great video! I especially loved Mastick and Ghargoyle! I love Ghars, they’re so cool so it’s very nice to see them as a Pokémon mixed with a fictional creature I adore, that being gargoyles. On another note, have you ever thought of doing an Urshifu of every type? I think it’d be pretty cool! I’ve written some descriptions for some myself, but I don’t really draw.
