Hey Laura, what a fun surprise to sit down to my daily dose of your channel, after having been out in my own little Yard doing a little bit of planting and maintenance, to see you doing an install at your son and daughter-in-law’s house. Love the basalt column fountain, and the gorgeous rocks that you found, not to mention all the beautiful succulents. Awesome to see your son Jon And Hannah working side-by-side, what a blessing to have such a beautiful family, can’t wait to see the continuing project on the install.

Not to diss Jon, but Hannah is much better at shoveling :) I am so excited to see how this will turn out, which I think will be another one for the books. I really like the fountain. So, you can travel for an installation ;) I am keeping my fingers crazy crossed that you, Greg, and Hannah can come to my country for a work-play visit someday, to see the amazing succulent growers up in the 2,000-year-old mountain terraces and to enjoy our world-famous beaches and dive sites.

So, Laura, FYI. Claremont in LA area and Clairemont in San Diego both have an "E". Claremont in LA is "without the I". Clairemont in San Diego has an "I" because it was named after developer Carlos Tavares' wife Claire. Just a little bit of local history from your friend in Clairemont with an "I".

Love the choice of succulents! Do you have any pro tips for gold tooth aloes? I’ve had mine for a couple years and it hasn’t thrived like my other aloes. Full Texas sun, shade, water, no water - it only seems to lose its chubbiness ☹️

Claremont and surrounding areas do not freeze in the winter. 40 degree F is about as cold as it gets at that elevation.
