Well done video that explains the power of multis. Remember to drop down polyphony for each part in a multi to help reduce cpu usage. Look at grouping common fx into the multi fx rack and turn them off on each part. Consider using delays over reverb to clean up the overall sound of it becomes too muddy live.

yeah I like your videos Kevin - like I had said in another one of your's that you explain things so well - sometimes some of these videos on mainstge and Omnisphere you would have to be more advanced to understand what they are saying but now I know I can do it - I would imagine it is not that difficult to get the sounds or patches from Omnisphere into MainStage - am I correct on that ? well I love and feel the music so much inside so am excited to get into this different direction than I have been doing thus far - it just adds so much to have these nice background sounds in creating an atmosphere in the building
@JorgeSilvestrini6 жыл бұрын
Hey - so I don't think it is possible to get the patches from Omnisphere into MainStage - different synths altogether. You'll need to recreate the sounds in MainStage from scratch as I understand it.
@kevinmelton35156 жыл бұрын
Hey Grantti N, if you visit www.multitracks.com you find patches for Omnisphere and MainStage that are available for purchase. But the principles I'm teaching will work in MainStage too.
