Alison your fleur is stunning, it's also my new favourite dress pattern alongside the Hope dress. I actually used the hope dress skirt pattern for the fleur as the fleur was too gathered for me, I did add waist ties too. The jury's out on the Nell, I made the top but had to take it in as the shoulders were too big as is always the case with TATB patterns x

!ove your fleur dress, the fabric is great. I'm team fleur too , made my first one in a vintage duvet cover , making a top then onto another dress and going to use your idea to add buttons, thanks for your wonderful blogs

Your fleur looks brilliant Alison. I turned the McCalls Laura Ashley dress into a Mabel top and I'm taking a few of my early makes on holiday to deconstruct because they either didn't fit or didn't suit me. Love the red top you were wearing at the beginning of your vlog. The Sew Over it Maeve blouse is very similar to the Fleur in construction which I'm going to add a skirt to at some point.
