The Rotom tablet thing got me thinking, with all of the virtual assistants and at-home A.I. units that have been put out to the market, with even Microsoft using the Cortana character image to make one, how on earth has Nintendo not put out a Rotom virtual assistant on a commercial scale yet? They literally created Rotom phones and other regularly used appliances like PCs in the games, and they haven't tried their hand at making an irl virtual assistant Rotom? It's literally the closest thing we'll ever get to Pokemon in real life, (at least for the next couple hundred years, after genetic alteration and hybridization research has advanced quite significantly) and I've seen neither hide nor hair of one being put out to the market.
