Just wanna thank the stop-animation team. This would've been so extensive, and it was a fantastic, dark and deep episode mixed with magic. Geniusly written.

It always strikes me when watching Community that the production cost must've been really high in relation to the number of viewers. Maybe I'm wrong, but in some episodes they seemed to put so much effort in to stuff that only served as a small joke. That's one of the reason i respect the show so much. There are so many other shows out there that just feel cheap and cliché, with minimal effort just to rake in the cash.
@ADNAN0MNM4 жыл бұрын
That''s one of the reasons why the show got cancelled so many times. It was way too expensive to justify the rating.
@dicedoom71624 жыл бұрын
@@ADNAN0MNM they didnt go over budget, alot of episode were also cheap so they could spend more on others. but this information is what i read from other people so i dont know the facts.

@@dicedoom7162 From what I've gathered from interviews they were constantly telling Dan Harmon he was over budget, but they would always come in under by the end of the season. On the recent reunion episode of "The Darkest Timeline," One of them mentions that a producer said that they would lie to Dan about being over budget (presumably so he wouldn't get too overly ambitious with his episode ideas)

Casual, normal behind the scenes thing about the conception and process of the episode and then they cut to Yvette's interview and she's dressed like Father Guido Sarducci. I absolutely died laughing at that. Only Community.

This very episode was my introduction to Community (that and Regional Holiday Music). People like to beat the word 'Smart' to death when describing this show, and they're right to do so, but Community (and even, to an extent, Joel Mchale's The Soup) just works so well for me because it veers from the obvious and stays entrenched in the strange and specific compared to all the boilerplate crap that infests the other networks

Well, the 2 paintball episodes they did after For a few paintballs more were kinda lame imo, probably because they were in the 2 worst seasons of the show (4 and 6)
