Because of Svelte, I though worked in html. You don't know until you know. I am a super supporter of bringing Svelte as close to native html as possible, and it warmed my heart to hear Rich talk about this. Svelte looks so much like html, it is easy for them to trick people into thinking it is html with some curly braces.

Balancing between all the hyper-dynamic trends in web dev, Rich, his mindset and his products seems to bring a balance. I'm guessing real senior engineers are betting on svelte in the future as a mature framework.

a great interview!! I really like the debates that arise. As always Rich Harris is wonderful in his answers but congratulations on the questions and the mood of the interview too :)

I don't quite get this episode, why are you asking questions about what would happen if they stopped working on the project for 40+minutes. Could really use some better and more technical questions.

I’ll say what others are confused to say: the host behave like a moron 🤦‍♂️ and all these repeatedly stupid questions about Svelte EOL… I mean, come one dude (Alex?), are you OK?
