Man watching you get into the EQ each time was trippy. I thought I was going crazy until I realized it was just multiple takes that didn't get edited out.

At 1:30 why is that the stock Steinway piano sounds so lush and full? What kind of monitors are you running them through? It sounds incredible
@ridgedon4 жыл бұрын
The piano sound you hear in the video was recorded straight through MainStage, no external monitors! MainStage sounds are fantastic out of the gate, but using some of the tweaks in this video you can make them sound however you want!

Hi quick question. How to make second sound play only hard press on keyboard? For example I want to have 2 patches layered on top of each, one piano and an other brass. And when I play keyboard normally only hear the piano patch but when I press hard only hear the brass.

Can a Yamaha P-125 hook up to Mainstage? How do you hook it up? How many piano sounds are offered on Mainstage?
@austinryder90284 жыл бұрын
As long as you have a USB-to-host cable to connect a Mac to a keyboard you should be good with any keyboard! I also use a Yamaha, and I can tell you that you usually have to go to the keyboard manufacturer's website and download something called a "driver" for free that allows your keyboard and Mac to talk to each other. And if you buy the MainStage app, there's seriously more sounds in MainStage than anyone could use in one lifetime
@ridgedon4 жыл бұрын
@@austinryder9028 along with the hundreds and hundreds of stock sounds in MainStage, other companies offer 3rd party piano sounds that work inside MainStage and Logic, the possibilities are truly endless.

The plug-in went through a name change but it’s the same plug in! You will probably see the name “sampler” instead of “es24” but they’re the same thing it’s just an updated version of Mainstage

Thanks, I got Nord stage 3 ha88- is it still helpful/advantage to get Mainstage? My problem is I own stage 3 at home but church has older version (sadly Nord did not make sharing patches possible between different generation models duh!!) so I am thinking to just use this expensive Nord as MIDI controller - so at least the tone /patches that I setup at home shall be same that I would use during live Sunday service. My other question is- sound quality of Nord vs. Mainstage- is it noticeable difference?
