This is a wonderful talk. It's full of facts and insightful comments by Mr. Owen, many of which most of us would not have thought of on our own. We know evolution violates many first principles so it cannot be factual and true but it's hard to pinpoint just where it goes wrong. The Kolbe Institute is very helpful in arming us to fight the battle when we can.

I've commenced exploring JPII's 'Theology of the Body' recently and it contains such wonderfully profound insight on Genesis. This video complements TOB beautifully and Michael Waldstein's commentary therein. I am a catechist in one of the UK's largest parishes and the wonderful work of Sensus Fidelium fills me with Hope. I live near Pasedena, California, one of the only places in America where you will find peacocks in the wild. Somebody brought them over from India over a hundred years ago, and they've since multiplied to become quite a clan. Amazing birds. I like collecting their feathers. God's love letters indeed.

If I could do it all over again, going to an expensive University and being taught by the elite and snooty homosexuals of the intellectual class after High School would be scratched off my list. However, the best experience from my 'higher education years' were Campus Ministry and the Charismatic Renewal and that itself was priceless, except one didn't need to go to a University to get that.

Thank you for piecing things together. So my “catholic” men’s group thinks the Bible is allegory. My kids also believe this. It’s all stories meant to give people a moral compass. If you try to engage in a discussion about creation, it is frustrating. How can the new catechism (JP2) say you can believe either theistic evolution or creationism? That is to call God a liar, in my opinion.

The consecration of Russia was done by Pope Pius XII in Sacro Vergante Anno on July 7, 1952. It was done late as Our Lady predicted and not as she had requested. Our Lady said, "If my wishes are fulfilled, Russia will be converted and there will be peace; if not, then Russia will spread her errors throughout the world. It is trite to continue to think that the consecration needs to be done. The errors have been spread throughout already. We are in apocalyptic times.

Sorry, but the Consecration hasn't been done. Russia hasn't converted en masse to the Catholic Faith. Wars and social chaos still continue. So everything is still in a royal mess.

As stated in the section beginning around 39:18, the story of Adam and Eve must retain its objective meaning (otherwise it undermines the gospel). Why should Jesus have given Himself to be tortured and executed in vicarious punishment if the sin was only symbolic and Adam a non-existent individual. No, Adam and Eve were real persons and their sin was the original sin of the human race with real negative consequences for subsequent generations of the human race. Adam was created directly by God from the dust of the earth and Eve was created by God from the side of Adam. If the scientific evidence seems to indicate otherwise, then please re-check the science.

@narragarrathunder-rider8146 I'm no professional theolgian but Godd is Holy and Worthy of Honor. He sees things differently than we do. Sin causes suffering and harm. Sin cannot be justly overlooked as if no harm had been done. God must punish sin. Forgiveness of sin required Jesus to undergo harm and suffering and shedding of blood on behalf of those He redeemed.

The priest in my parish teaches the first 11boks of Genesis are just a parable , that we don,t even know if Adam and Eve are the correct names .
