While religious thinking is a door my mind is not equipped to walk through, it would be a mistake to think that because of that there is no room for wonder, joy or even pure unadulterated terror, at the great mystery of our existence. Like the skin of an onion, there are seemingly endless layers of questions with answers that seem forever beyond our reach. Such as, what is consciousness, and is it even real? Or is it just an illusion -a kind of simulation created by matter and evolution. At the heart of these layers of impossible questions, is "Why is there something, and not nothing?". Unfortunately, this question has been subverted into another one, phrased as "How did something come from nothing?". This second question, appears to be a launching pad for many scientific and philosophical debates, and while the question itself may have given rise to much fruitful discussion, it still bothers me that the question itself is taken so seriously, when it seems so obviously flawed: We have ample evidence there is something, and we have zero evidence that there was ever nothing. Thankfully, this video avoided phrasing the the question in this particular form, and I very much look forward to more videos on this deeply perplexing and thorny subject.

Would you consider doing a video on constructor theory and counterfactuals?

A little too esoteric for me, but as always a good presentation.
