As a Computer Engineer, I can say that information can only come from an intelligent source and your DNA is full of information. The moment that information can construct itself is the moment when I am not longer needed to program applications. Of course, they don't create themselves and I have a job because of it. This is not an anti-Science position. Those who claim that Intelligent Design is not science need to acknowledge the fact that their computer, the internet and their software were all intelligently designed in the field of Computer Science. To claim that I cannot acknowledge God in the creation of the Universe is like saying I cannot acknowledge Man in the creation of the Computer.

You don't have to give 10% of your earning if you don't want too, but it's biblical to give 10% as Tithe to God because he blessed you with everything you have in the first place. There are people in the SDA church who don't give Tithe and there are many who give more than 10%. It's not rubbish. People give money so that others can hear messages like these, and for me it was nice to hear this message. NOTHING IS FREE. Jesus died for us and if we believe in him and build a relationship with him..

Why do we always attack the speaker and not listen to the word of God that is being preached/teach? Why not listen to what he has to say, go to the bible under the guidance of the Holy Spirit and see if it is truth or not. If you don't believe in God or salvation then you really don't have a purpose in life.

Before you argue with someone ask, "is this person psychologically and emotionally mature enough to grasp the concept of different perspective?" If not there's no point in arguing. On religious issues the question is, "does this person believe that the Bible is true? If not there's also no point in arguing.

Of course Darwin called evolution a hypothesis. If you had any understanding of science you would understand that a hypothesis must under peer scrutiny through falcification to be called a theory. Evolution has stood up to every attempt of falcification which is why we still have biology which hinges on the theory of evolution.

Ask a hard core follower like David....where was Jesus at when Stephen was stoned and he had a vision before dying ? Don't tell me it's symbolic. Then ask, why does Ellen White teach differently then the apostle Stephen who easily stated Jesus standing at the right hand of the Father as our active mediator. Why was the veil ripped apart when Jesus died on the cross; meanwhile, Ellen White claims that this same veil or "door" still remains as a "barrier" to mankind. Still more work for Jesus

As soon as you actually learn what a scientific theory is and what evolution actually says we can have an discussion. Here are a few quick things: 1. Its called the theory of gravity, not the law of gravity. Thank you for demonstrating it. So because its the theory of gravity you are going to discount it now and start believing that your "clicker" is going to float in the air. 2. Yes the theory of evolution has no idea where life comes from, its not what its purpose of the theory. The purpose is to explain how natural selection and mutation can be responsible for the diversity of life. 3. You take Genesis as it stand word for word. So you believe the moon gives light. Not reflects it. Gen 1:16 " Then God made two great lights: the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night," So what now, we have been to the moon and it doesn't give light. So in Genesis 1:16 it should then have said God made a Great light and a object to reflect light, the greater light to rule the day, and the reflector to rule the night." for your argument to stand. Clever of you to skip that part. 4. The theory of evolution is not a believe, if there is something that proof it is wrong it will be thrown out tomorrow. That is why scientist argue and test and rework the theory. Its not static. 5. There is no difference between micro and macro evolution. Its just evolution. Only creationists distinguish between them, because they cannot refute micro evolution. I am a Christian, my problem is not with God or the Bible but with these people who tell me what to believe and that its all black and white. I can give so many more examples of where David is wrong with his assumptions.

+Mike Huber 1) There is a difference between micro & macro evolution-a HUGE difference.....2) Evolution is NOT science, rather it is a worldview. To be science it has to be observable, testable & repeatable--macro-evolution has never been any of those.....3) Mutation is a LOSS of info--hence it can't lead to "evolution". Please learn BASIC SCIENCE before you post on the subject. DNA only ruins, rearranges or removes existing info. ...4) NO, your problem isn't with young earth creationists...it is with the Word of God (and science I would argue).

David Asscherik is NOT the "reliable source of truth". He teaches from the bible, which is the truth. He has done lots of studying and has a degree in Theology, and that has prepared him to teach the bible from others who have learned from the bible. Kind of like Jesus to Peter.
