Yeah the bass s a little flabby and without EQ the bass and treble can sound a bit disconnected at times. But the excellent EQ allows me to get exactly the sound I want and yes the xMEMs is fantastic, even better than planar by a few factors. Great review as always.

Bit of a tough sell at 50 bucks more than the Sony Link Buds S which are my go to rec at under 150 right now - have you tried them?

you forgot to mention it has aptx lossless BT codec (only for those that have a smartphone with snapdragon soc over 8gen1)

They need a dongle for gaming. Too bad most TWS just don’t include them.
