What if I use a resource that is CC BY SA as part of a larger project, should the entire project be CC BY SA as well or just the portion that uses the said resource? For example, if I use an image under CC BY SA as the cover art for a book, does that mean the entire book must be CC BY SA or just its cover?

For the 3 and 5 rating, they are interchangeable, depending whether you want to remix or use commercially, if u remix for non-commercial, u can use materials under CC BY NC as long as you give credits, same goes for if u wanna use for commercial but no remix

Hi Sir, Thanks a lot for all your information. But I have one confusion . I have used one of the cooking recipe with creative common reuse license . But it is removed by youtube . The message is "Terms and policies This video can’t be uploaded. It contains a copy of content from a video we’ve previously removed due to a copyright removal request." What are the other points we need to verify before using the video with creative common license. Kindly give me some suggestion.

Creative commons can be used for anything that falls under copyright law, including: books, plays, movies, music, articles, photographs, blogs, and websites. But it does recommend against using it on software where other licences like MIT or GNU GPL should be used.

i would ask a question...if the video is 100% mine but i add music from a subscription that i paif for....should i use CC or standard KZbin License....I know that by use CC i give permission for other to use my video. just in my side..using my video and adding subscription music to be considered as original or not that i can not use CC

General CC standard attribution should include: -Work’s name -Author’s name -Work’s link if possible -Type of license -License link

Just wondered if i download a Creative Commons video and reupload to my channel with attribution. Then the original pubisher decides to turn the video from creative commons to standard youtube licence. Can i get a youtube strike if he decides its copyrighted now?
