Creative Fix for a Missing Tuning Condenser on a Grundig 2447 Tube Radio Restoration pt. 2

With the original ripped out, I had to match the unequal values of the two gangs while navigating the tricky mechanics of the tuning dial. The standard tuning gear just didn’t fit, so I had to get creative to make it work.
From custom adjustments to careful testing, this step was both challenging and rewarding. The result? A promising solution that brings me one step closer to fully restoring this beautiful 1965 tube radio.
