“ Oh, look , Mom!! Another tool for the family!” 😂😂 I absolutely love these rulers. So great for those scrap buckets that never seem to have a bottom! I am so thankful to all of these designers for sharing their brilliant ideas. So excited to see what’s next! Happy quilting! 🧵

I appreciate that you showed each round. Many pineapple block tutorials only show rounds one, two and three. Leaving a big question mark in my mind as to how to deal with the angled rounds that occur after round 4. Thank you!

Maria, you did a superb job explaining and demonstrating how to use Creative Grids' Mini Pineapple Trim Tool, which Jean Ann Wright designed. To my surprise, I fully understood your instructions and feel confident I could follow them. Beforehand, I found Pineapple Blocks intimidating. Thank you!!!

Thank you for really explaining the need to trim twice on the last round before adding the triangles. Your explanation was excellent as was the demonstration of using the ruler. Thanks

I recently finished a 2-color quilt using the Pineapple Trim Tool, and it was a lot of fun to make, and turned out beautiful. I can never have enough ways to use scraps, so I'm getting this one because I love the skinny strips.

This looks awesome! I already have the 10" Pineapple Ruler and it's amazing. Perfect Pineapples *every* time. So excited to get the 12" Skinny. Just ordered it from Missouri Star Quilt Co.

If the strip ends up being 3/4” why do you need to use 1 1/2” strips. Wouldn’t 1 1/4” strip work as well?

Wann kommt dieses TrimmTool mit 12 Inch nach Deutschland????

I don't understand all the waist created with all the trimming. Make the pieces as they should be in there beginning. HST's (half square triangles)and would work more efficiently.

A Pineapple quilt is usually something that uses scraps. I am ok with a little waste of scrap fabric, especially if I get a nice accurate square block at the end of the process.

If the strips end up at 3/4” why wouldn’t you use a 1 1/4 inch strip? The ruler calls for 1 1/2 inch strips.

Thought so too and tried it with 1 1/4“ strips instead of the 1 1/2“ strips the instructions are calling for. It kind of works, but not really. It’s a bit annoying, and the strips are too narrow to work with the ruler. Definitely try it on one block first before cutting strips for a whole quilt if you want to give it a go. My test block turned out a bit wonky, there just wasn’t enough „flesh“ to square up properly in each round. Hope this helps someone ❤
