Both, but turquoise best. The gold makes it pop! I enjoy your videos.

It's important to note for new makers, that most blue and green micas are not approved for use in bath bombs but lots of reds, purples and pinks are safe. Check with your supplier. The best colorants to use for bath bombs are the FD&C approved dyes that have been bloomed - like in Dora's color powder tutorial.

Why blue and greens are not approved for use in bath bombs???
@The-Grateful-Hippie27 күн бұрын
@@nenisguevaragomez8122 Most are not approved for general use / mucus membranes. Generally if it's approved for lip use you can use it in bath bombs because the user is going to be soaking in the colorful water. Most blue Micas are made with chromium oxide green which is not approved. Soap like cold process is different because not only is it a rinse off product but the color is encapsulated in the soap.

We use safe crayons for color. It’s for personal use so presentation is not that important. We use Easter eggs for mold. My kids have so much fun making them and using them. ❤

@@CreativeBathLab Well, that didn't go very well.... I live in Utah where the humidity is always very low -- so they never got very hard and split in half. But I watched one of your other videos where you troubleshoot and I made the moisturizing spray you recommended. Today I tried your cocoa butter recipe (because we all suffer from dry skin--especially in the winter!) and used the moisturizing spray. So far they're holding together really well. A little powdery after 6 hours, but still hard. Fingers crossed. Thanks for putting together such amazing tutorials. My next attempt is with "the blob"! 😀

what happens if i don't shrink wrap them ?
@CreativeBathLab4 ай бұрын
Perhaps nothing but personally, I’ve found wrapping them wards off those little tiny cracks & exposure to moisture
@shoresofreedom3 ай бұрын
@@CreativeBathLab and if one wants to sell them, and let's dream and say in big amounts, do we let them in the wrap (so that could be up to 1 or 2 years i guess) and ship them as is? i saw that lush employees leave them in their plastic molds.

I'm having a problem of color spots showing up after the bath bomb dried. For example, when I make a purple bath bomb (mixing blue and pink powder lake color in dry ingredient), there'll be a lot of blue spots shown up after the bath bomb dried. Can you please help to explain why this happen and how to fix it? By the way, thank you very much for your great contents. It helps us a lot!
@CreativeBathLab4 ай бұрын
Yea. Lakes are hard to blend evenly. I don’t use lakes often & if I do, I add just a tiny bit. But Personally, I blend them in a blender to mix colors & make them smoother
