I use Big Twist yarn because it is very reasonable and works up nicely. I crochet items and sell them to raise funds for dog rescue. All the folks that have purchased items are really pleased with the items and they wash and dry nicely.

As a recovering yarn snob, I really love the Big Twist yarn. I’ve crocheted a cardigan out of the gray ombré and a reading shawl out of the purple ombré and love them both. They are soft and comfortable. I’ve machine washed and dried both of them with no issues. Thanks for the review. My favorite isn the purple ombré, so far.

Hi Glenda & Cody. Thanks for the Big Twist Value yarn swatches. Cody, I like how that grey ombre granny square turned out, but my absolute favorites were the purple ombre done in the Granny 2 stitch & the aqua ombre done in the Crunch stitch. Beautiful stitch definition w/ those 2 patterns. ❤️

I love the Cherry Mix/red blotchy one!! I like it when I can find a color that matches the color I want but isn’t just a plain color. This being different shades of red would work perfect for several shades in the red category!! I’ll have to check out my stores!!

Thank you so much Cody and Creative Grandma. I shared your channel with my mom the other day. She taught me how to crochet and of course her mom did so many beautiful yarn projects; afghans, dolls, doilies etc. She often used the Red Heart yarn for her dolls and afghans. I really like the aqua blue yarn swatch but was surprised at the black and gray granny square. It turned out really nice. There are A lot of people who enjoy the clean black and White colors. That yarn work up would make a great a gift for them. It looks so sharp. So good to see it worked up. You both really inspire me with the different stitches and ideas.
