I am making a throw for my nephew's wedding with this pattern. I have 80 hexagon made and am making 20 more for a total of 100. Then I'm going to put them together. I can't wait to see the finished product. I'm really excited about this.

I followed your stitch pattern. It’s pretty easy. Each hexie takes upwards of an hour but I am SUPER SLOW nor am I in a hurry. That last round you don’t do double crochets 2/3 together. Just watch the tutorial. It’s very clear. I can make hexagon’s now! I’m going to have to learn half hexie’s….but that’s for another day.

Shouldn't be difficult to figure out. Do the starting chain and ring (maybe only do half the starting chain? Not sure.), obviously cannot stitch in rounds, only in rows, so stitch half the first row and tie off, stitch half the second row and tie off, etc. Remember 3 chain stitches = 1 dc. for starting and ending rows.

Grandmother's FlowerGarden from quilt pattern. Yellow center, solid color, veregated color, white. Join hexagons with white. The other traditional join round color is green. All hexagons have yellow center. Solid and veregated colors all vary. Great stash buster, especially rounds 2 and 3. 😊
