Hi Cody & Glenda. Thanks for working up those swatches. I love the city lights color way the best. Glenda, I always think of autumn colors as having a scarlet or deep vibrant red orange tone as well. For me, I would want to get a solid vibrant yarn of those colors interspersed with the 2 different colorways you showed as by themselves they look a little too faded for me. However, you may surprise me when you work those two together. ❤️

Thank you so much for all the swatches, it so helpful! I love the Wool-Ease yarn but not for blankets, I think it’s too thick and heavy and very costly even on sale for how much yarn you would need for a blanket. I have used it for hats and mittens ( too thick for scarves and not soft around your neck) and love it for baskets and purses. I also use it to make pumpkins and Xmas ornaments. My favorite of the colors in this video are City Lights (for a hat) and Rapids for baskets or a purse. I probably would not mix the colors, I’d find a solid color to mix with it.

I love watching the videos with the two if you in them. You both work so well together. To pick my favorite color is difficult but I like the one that the granny square is made of. Thank you for this video. I love Wool Ease Thick and Quick! I buy 4 extra steins of them because I thought I would make hats, but I can't make the magic circle for the life of me. Then I thought about making a striped blanket using all the colors I have. Wow that granny square is beautiful! I think one for granny than different for a border. I could see it if you used an ecru to separate the two colors for a granny square blanket. And the City Lights and the light blueish one are my favorite of the day. This is a great way for us out here to get an idea of how a skein works up. Thanks.

Yes, I think the two colors would make a beautiful granny square blanket. I'd probably do more rounds of one color. And maybe 2 or 3 rows of the second color,and continue in that pattern. Each swatch is very appealing in its own way. Thanks!

Can't pick a favorite from today's choices. I never can with this yarn. Never thought of a granny blanket with it though. As I mentioned in the last video, I used 3 colors for a small bathroom sink rug. Basically, an oblong granny. I used up all 3 skeins pretty much. I love this yarn and Wish I could get in on the sale!

I like seeing the samples of the different hues. I use Spice Market an awful lot in my lap g h a n s. The tan background in Spice Market remind me of jute. I really like the way it works up - however I usually add a second strand of a solid color to emphasize the variegated one. It works up very nicely. I can't wait to try the city lights version - it reminded me of Spice Market except with a navy background and instead of an orange, a light blue in its place.
