@@vipinrawat7734 Dear Vipin g u will get 5.1 sourround sound only in Amazon and net flix where it is clearly mentioned in movie our series 5.1 or 7.1........youtube hot star both are only 2.1 chanels for that if u want all your speaker to work then their is option of clear sound field then all your speaker will get and u get left right sound deviations only but all speaker work

While changing the settings of ht-iv300 In Audio output it was in speaker+hdmi when i click to change it showing "cannot change this setting while control for hdmi is on" what does it mean and how to change please tell me sir

Go to HDMI settings under system settings and turn off HDMI control, then you can do audio output change

Did you check the 4k passthrough? It is limited to 1080p no matter what settings you change.

Just connect your hdmi directly from the source to the display for 4k and another hdmi or optical cable from the source to this home theatre for 5.1 sound. tried everything.. even invited sony service engineer to home to check, they confirmed this model has no 4k passthrough. no luck

hey so how would connection go if u have an android box or firestick ! cause i have connected my android box to the IV300 box but still i cant change the speaker and hdmi setting ! nor do i get dolby

Remember, dolby sound effect will come if sound out put is 5.1 and above, other wise you will hear sound only from 2 speakers in dolby mode. If you are not sure then stick to Sound field mode and change different effects. For Fire stick, play with HDMI settings and control and see. I will try to use at my end and let you know process

@@CreativeMindDD i connected my firestick directly to the iv300 and both Netflix and Amazon prime is giving me 5.1 out. Am only getting the Dolby out when i connect the same to pc hardware. Same with Android box. Works same like firestick. But then when i play 5.1 sound video files the out is just stereo again.

Today I purchased and installed sony ht iv 300. I have set satellite speakers, subwoofer and amplifier properly. Connected them with tv via hdmi arc port. But the problem is while playing movie only centre speaker and subwoofer is functioning. Other 4 speakers are silent. What to do??? When I test sound in setting of home theatre all of them are ok. But while playing movie they are silent. Please give link of some surround sound to test if all speakers are ok...

Might be TV only sending only 2.0 channels output in this case don't put it on dolby mode, if you want want to hear all five speakers then change to Clear voice mode and adjust speaker value. Lower front speakers output and increase rear speakers output values

Only put Dolby digital when you have 5.1 audio files, for all others audio select sound field settings, under sound field choose different effects as per your choice.please let me know if this solves your problems
