My daughter says that glitter is the crafters "STD", because if you get it, you have a really hard time getting rid of it. lol 😁 I spray anything with glitter, a clear sealant. I was told that hairspray works as a sealant also, but I haven't tried it yet. Love all of your DIYS and I want to thank you for sharing your magical ideas with those of us who have not yet unlocked our own ideas. ❤️

I love glitter and everything that sparkles. Yes it's true, hairspray will seal glitter. I use it a lot on my glitter creations and Mod Podge is also good for sealing glitter. 1/4 Mod Podge to 2/4 of water. Easy peezy!

The tree skirt is adorable, such a great idea, might have to steal it. I always make homemade cookies, all the time, especially at Christmas, and I made hundreds of them, because I sell them to numerous people during the holidays. One year, I ran out of molasses, so I asked my son, to grab some at the store, I told him I needed it for gingerbread cookies. Well, being a typical teenager, he heard gingerbread, and he bought me the Betty Crocker cookie package, where all you add is eggs and oil. It was late so what could I do, I made them. I cannot tell you how many of my customers asked if I changed my recipe, because they were delicious, I received nothing but compliments, and that is all I have used since that day. No, I do not have a good recipe anymore, but, I have a secret recipe and that is the Betty Crocker mix.😂

I LOVE the gingerbread house tree skirt/box made with the Dollar Tree laser cut houses... SO creative! Yes!!! I would LOVE to see a gingerbread kitchen tour!! I love your holiday decorating videos & holiday home tours. I have a delicious gingerbread cookie recipe I've used for years. It's sturdy enough to be used for edible gingerbread houses, yet soft enough to be eaten & it smells amazing. You can even use it to make gingerbread people ornaments! There are no eggs in the recipe, so you just need to let them dry out for a few days then hit them with a polycrylic spray & they'll last for years! As watching this I also was working on gingerbread houses to sell for tiered trays. I used white foam clay for my roof tops and it worked out great because you can add little peaks of the snow by pinching it.

Wow I love the Gingerbread houses around your tree. Glitter not so much. I am glad you found one that did not stick to you. I won’t go near it. Years ago I ended up with some getting in my eyes. It was glass glitter. Horrible stuff. I cringe when I see glitter now Lol. I can laugh now but routine checks to the Drs for a month wasn’t fun. I don’t like fake snow either. I try to make my paint thinker with baking soda and put it on like that. It takes practice so it doesn’t get lumpy. Now I have found the quick drying Spackle and love it. You always make such adorable things. I want to make everything. Blessings

Oh my goodness...the tree skirt! What a fantastic idea for using those houses, and I am sure I have more than enough to recreate at least one of my own.
