I normally use Oxiclean, Persil detergent, and laundry sanitizer either Lysol or Clorox to clean my jerseys. I don't fabric softener anymore because its bad for the environment anyway and itches my skin.

Should be able to the same way. Just turn it inside out and put on a gentle cycle with cold water

I washed a fake nhl jersey on hot to try and shrink it, then dried it til slightly damp, to no avail. no shrinkage, but zero damage to it after that all out warfare on it, though. theses garments can and will take that kind of abuse, evidently. the company sent the wrong size and I researched how to try and shrink it, rather than exchange it on the slow boat back to china. there is some crap info on youtube regarding jerseys, both ways

I recently got a limited jets jersey and after the first wash i noticed some loose threads on the front number and where the leaves are when i look at it from the inside and i think i used fabric softener which i heard shouldn’t be used on jerseys. NinerFaithful52 No. I'm pretty sure you'll destroy the jersey before it shrinks. Especially since it's a game jersey. The printing would peel off if you dried it on hot to shrink it.
