It is nice to see how you are trying to "form" your students. But science or reasearch does not ask for or need nobel prices or keynote speakers. And therefor it seems to make more sense to state the results of scientific papers instead of citing nobel price winners. As long as any statement is not based on reasearch ("the interpretation/conclusions of collected data") is only speculation and this is usual the opposite of research. "hard work alone matters"? Only, as long as "the hard work" leads to results! So not the hard work matters but only the results. But yes: usualy it requires very hard work to produce results.
