This is coming and in fact, I don't use RS 3 anymore as I have a better setup with an unreleased gimbal. I will share more after NAB. Testing my setup intensively right now.

If you can important your street view as video, you can us e this technique I believe. Most of the time for GSV, it is okay to leave the vechile in frame. Check my Mocha Pro and After Effect content aware fill video as well.

Informative tutorial as always. Question... is there anyway to increase the area/size inside the latlong patcher? I need to erase/clone a much larger area than the latlong patcher window can see. my tripod extends outside of the viewable area. I can get most of it... but some of it is not visible inside that window. I hope that makes sense. thank you in advance!

You might need to get 2 patcher - do one after another. There will be easier workflow soon. Working with Blackmagic to figure it out.

@@hughhou Sorry, I am from Germany. DLP projector is the correct term. You use those shutter lcd googles to see the 3d-effect. A special player from NVIDA is needed playing from PC.

Did you install StreamVR and setup your Meta Quest as like PCVR gaming devices or play Oculus PC game before? If you have not setup your Meta Quest on PC, you need to do that first. Sorry I assuming most of my viewers are also VR gamers but if you never setup your Quest, you need to do that first. Download the Meta Quest, actually might be still call Oculus software on your computer and make sure it see your Meta Quest 3 first.

Thanks again for all the knowledge. I have 2 Gopro Hero 11 with max lens mod and a Zoom H3VR. For now I am synching in Resolve then exporting the left and right and combining and correcting disparity in Mistika, then editing the result in Resolve and exporting with ambisonic audio. I would like to combine and correct disparity in Resolve and I know it can be done as I used to do standard 3d in Resolve, but I have forgot how over time. My next problem is I know how to change the settings in Davinci to export Ambisonic audio, but I am uncertain of the best way to also add in extra tracks like commentary or background music. It would be nice to have a Davinci Resolve tutorial so that the complete video can be edited in one software, which will cut down on time and having to learn multiple programs. Lastly, I do not know how to add meta data for KZbin, Oculus and DeoVR to a side by side 180 file with ambisonic audio.

Video editing would be easier, I’m looking for something like Premiere Pro VR Projection FX that allows me to change format. Excellent video, thank you! You mentioned in previous videos that Mac is better for editing as ProRes support is better. Here we have to use workarounds to see our content while editing on Mac. Being a person deciding on a laptop for VR180 editing, should one get mobile 4090 like Blade 16 or Macbook Pro M2 Max?

I will say Blade 16 or 18 instead of M2 for editing VR. VR support is better in general in PC unless Apple really step in the game with their new headset.

Thanks for producing great conten! I was wondering if there is a workflow to produce stereoscopic/3D video from monoscopic 360 video (like the one Insta360 X2 produces)? I recon it should be posible in Davinci resolve by using depth map feature or some orther AI software to generate view for second eye. Would I need to generate more than one extra eye view? How to merge everythink into one? 🤯

There is some solution right now but not good enough for it. Will update soon when I find a good AI solution for 2D to 3D conversion. Not sure X2 can do it...

Hi there! Thank you for your in depth tutorials on fusion nodes in stereo. Been very helpful for my projects. I do wonder, would it be possible to create a disparity map from one lower quality source to a 2D video, thus creating a higher 3D? Most of my side projects revolve around fan restoring 3D bluray movies with a new 4K video source in the mix. Think it would be easier to not destroy my computer further with storage in prores files 😅 Any help would be much appreciated!

Thank you for this great video! I was desperately looking for a way to get my title to look straight in VR - even asked chatGTP and it dreamed up a wrong answer :) My BIG mistake was not checking in the headset! When I exported a test file and looked the text that looked warped in DaVinci was perfectly straight :) I was spoiled by Premier where you can add an effect and check on the PC screen, but now that app crashes so hard it's unusable. DaVinci rules :)
