I also love "Cast them in water to see if they drown" which was a reference to how they believed witches floated ontop of water is because they believed that, due to trading their souls to Satan, they were denied the Rite of Baptism, which in the mind of the over-religious puritans and other similar zealous religious groups across Europe and America, meant they couldn't go underwater. They believed if someone drowned, they were innocent. Sometimes they did, in fact, fish the person out. Other times they didn't.

I like how this one has a more ominous tone. Like, most of your other songs are like "YAY!!! DEAD STUFF!!! WOOHOO!!!" *(which I do still like)* This one is more of an ominous march, which fits how the people carried out the witchcraft trials felt, and the seriousness of the trials in history. I also really love how "save our" then merges into the next line about souls

I dunno, Aim For The Head / Fodder For The Elder Gods / How To Serve Man / Bound and Gagged are all darker than this in their subject matter and lyrics in my opinion. I think these lyrics are really bland and low quality for what they typically put out. It's like they just copied and pasted a bunch of cliched lines from history textbooks about the Salem trials, there's nothing original about the content or the wording. It seems really stiff and lifeless.

My ears are bleeding. This is the sound of amazing. I love this song. All of it sounds beautiful, it's all dark, the lyrics are beautiful, Curtis sings amazing as always and the guitar sounds amazing, really fits into the mood, you can see the witches being burned now. I find this to be the anthem of the witch hunter. And not the "just hunting innocent men and women due supersitition" witch hunter, but the actual "killing evil sorcerers who doom mankind" witch hunter. People say this song is about the persecution of witches, but from the lyrics and rhythim, the witches in this case seem to be actual agents of darkness. This is a song best played as a leather coat-dressed demon hunter leaps through a window and brandishes a fierry crucifix-sword hybrid towards evil.
