I thought it was strange that none of the villagers were told about the murder. Isadore and the murderer were presumably the only ones who knew about it. And all the animals had evidence. Why would all the animals have obvious evidence that they 'did' the murder? Obviously, there's been some planting of evidence, and it's obvious the villagers would be too bloody stupid to even think of doing that.

So one day, a player that named themselves Boner became mayor of the town. IIRC, 'Boner' got the game from his older sister. He renamed the town to 'penis', and was generally abusive to the oblivious townsfolk. Isadore was the only one that noticed or cared, and she got sick of it and killed Boner. Then she scattered evidence around the town to try and get the crime pinned on someone else. When the detective found out it was her, she killed him.
