can this dyslexic person just say Thank You! for the way you explain..showing how not to turn the fabric as well as telling how many inches from the last line as well as how far from the top...I'm new to sewing..made 3 zipper bags so far and some tea towels..I can tell you I've been backwards and upside-down on Every one of them so far..at least I was able to unstitch the bags at least..Thank You..

YOUR CUTTING BOARD IS NOT AFFECTED BY THE HEAT COMING FROM THE MAT AND THE IRON?

The pad is folded so it’s double thickness and I don’t have the iron very hot as it isn’t necessary. If the mat was affected I wouldn’t do it. Nor would I use the pad with one layer or the iron on highest heat. I now have the ironing pad attached to a thick board so I can use high heat.

No, fleece would make it bulky. I used Shapeflex SF101
