I have an sbi credit card and i use the credit card only for purchasing medicines, my monthly medicine expenses range from Rs 8 thousand to Rs 10 thousand minimum. i always pay the bill as soon as before the due date. and i don't have to pay any interest. but whatever you said is absolutely correct sagar bhai, and i understand the point of view from which you are speaking is also absolutely correct

CC is good if u don't think it as your add-on money , like for example if you have 1lkh on bank and a Credit card with 50 thousand , it does not mean you have 1 lakh 50 thousand rupees... that's what everyone goes wrong. Every time u spends on CC , make sure u have that amount ready to pay later , and do not depend on "Baadme aajayenge"...

Someone said Who said you have to pay extra interest on your purchase, No one have to pay interest if pay your bill on time😂 My reply would be:- You have to pay an extra charge, try to pay home bills, they will charge 1.8 % instantly. Order something from swiggy or zomato or from anywhere using a credit card, then they may charge more and RBI said there is no such thing like no cost EMI(most people think interest free but it is not.). Your 2nd statement is partially correct, But you are not aware of the fact that if you are spending say 10000 rupees then your bill will come 10180/-. Banks may charge that 1.8% in the background. I mean do you know any bank that offers 1.8% interest per MONTH or 21.6% per year ? I guess stock markets are not that wealthy compared to the above rate of interest but their growth is around 12-15% which is damn good for a person who can contribute and not getting very good returns in FDs.

Your 1st statement is partially correct: home bills like rent payments or tution fees , cc charges 1%+ gst , people started misusing this facility to transfer money from cc directly to their bank , so banks applied this charge to stop this., and ordering something from swiggy or Zomato or any other, I haven't seen any extra charges on using cc instead I get discounts on different bank cc , now come to no cost EMI , yes there is always a processing fees included which can very to 99-250 + gst , the interest is not being charged by bank , for example, let's say you purchased 10k worth product on no cost EMI, then whatever intrest you were gonna pay to bank, say 1000 , then the merchant will give you that product at 9000 and the remaining 1000 you will pay to bank as its intrest, overall you spent 10250. Your 2nd statement is totally wrong: If you spend 10000 INR then your will be only 10000 , banks cannot charge extra money in background, if it happens you can complaint to RBI or consumer court. That 1.8% you are referring it may be a gst or igst of any of you EMI , some banks debit these charges in next month statement. The bank's are making money from the people who don't pay their cc bills on time and the loan they provide And yes I'm telling all of this based on my experience, I'm using credit cards for more than 5 years
