it was like splitwise. people could find trustable money lenders easily. And lenders can know if a borrower is trustable based on a rigid scoring system. Like a game where u have to build credibility. in the long run they could have charged money just to be on the app on a subscription basis. this was investable.

Investors are meant to be practical as like Namita ji said! They're not able to tell their own app numbers, what kind of users are using it etc. I know a thing or two about CIBIL and RBI guidelines, you cannot take such data without any regulation and when you are not clear about what you are doing, it's better to get it fixed by yourself! I know I am harsh, but if the founders don't know their number of users and categories of users, there's 100% chance of a fraud, that is a high risk, not investable business, to say the least, that's what they clarified through Namita!

Every shark was right Where money is involved RBI would interfere and they wouldn't pass the RBI because lenders will have to show the income source and only way to do it in large scale is to connect it via UPI or bank account. They said ki jo cash lenders hai wo sab chhithi pe hi karte was right. Because those black money wouldn't have any records. Aur application pe karge transactions then RBI will come after them. A wise businessman wouldn't invest in drowning business.
