The cree smart 21a 100w 1600 lumen bulb works with samsung smartthings app too. Brightest and cheapest bulb. Works great with samsung smarttag too and only cost $15 for a 2 pack at lowes currently.

nice video. love these. the key thing is that you have to pair with the 2.4 Ghz band on a dual band router (unless you have a Google mesh, then the bulb can just "find" the 2.4Ghz)

@@missygarcia3795 i had the app open on my phone with it waiting for me to touch the button that says search for device or whatever. Id screw in the lightbul and switch it on and as soon as i did i hit the button to locate the device. that worked for me for 15 light bulbs except for 1

I prefer a hub-based bulb over a wi-Fi based due to connectivity problems with Wi-Fi based bulbs. hub based bulbs are more reliable
