Definitely hits home, me , even got the tat one my forearm, “ your blood runs through my veins”. With Cherokee symbols. It’s a memorial for my daddy! Happy Father’s Day in heaven daddy. Definitely a family of outlaws here. Love this song.
@ronniedaniel86602 жыл бұрын
Shelby I'm Cherokee Indian also, and I have the upper most respect for you. Me and my daughter and 2 sons, hadn't talked for 4 years up until this past Father's Day. Cause of some lies my brother and mom had told them that I was shooting heroin, but I will promise you I wouldn't and will not ever do that period. But anyways, we have slowly and patiently been communicating and just being cautiously for now I guess. But anyways, I have a tattoo of a dreamcatcher at the shoulder on my left arm and a tattoo of the trail of tears starting at the bottom of it. And winding around my whole arm, showing the trail and the events that happened on it with the dates, location, how many died and at what destination along the trail. It goes into a tattooed wrist band with the names of all my ancestors that died on that trail. And on the back of my hand at the end, is a tatt of a 20.00 Bill with a scalped president Jefferson in it with over the top it says Indian Removal Act with the date. And across the bottom is the saying CHEROKEE PRIDE WE WILL STAND AGAIN. UNDER that's the date September 6, 1869. That's the date the cherokee nation was formed. All that was in honor of our Cherokee ancestors and to have people ask me to look at my tattoo's and I will tell them. Now this is the real history of how and who really built this country, and to let them know just WHO were the real first slaves of this country. Also what a massive massacre of our ancestors was, compared to a few hundred black people being hung and made slaves, and the Cherokees was brutally robbed of what was ours and what the government promised us. Then have taken from them and forced to march the trail of tears, and to express how we didn't have a Martin Luther king or a Rosie Parks and didn't have a civil rights marches. And I will tell them this and walk away and enough said. I say the Cherokee Indians is the TRUE and ONLY RACE in the history of this country that has any right or any place on this planet, to be able to say that the white man's government frocked them without any Vaseline, and that by the law of the land and law of the jungle. That the southern territory is truthfully Cherokee Indians territory and belongs to us, and that we were real humans and didn't cry with a butt hurt, like all the other races have been doing so. I say IF YOU DON'T BELIEVE ME I DON'T GIVE A CRAP GO GET THE BOOK BY JOHN EHULE CALLED THE RISE AND FALL OF THE CHEROKEE NATION AND LEARN WHAT THE REAL HISTORY OF THIS IS AND WHO'S LAND IT REALLY BELONGS TO AND WHAT YOUR WHITE GOVERNMENT DON'T WANT YOU TO TRULY KNOW. I stop look at them and say may the higher spirit bless you and yours, then turn and as I walk away I had my left towards the sky and say A-HO!!!! But baby girl, your dad was looking from heaven, saying that is my girl and no don't my blood runs threw her veins with the biggest smile and glow on his angel face the day you got your tattoo honoring the hero of your life. I can probably say, your Dad was a man of honor and definitely up in Cherokee heaven right now. All three of my kids got a similar tattoo and showed it to me on Father's Day and told me that is to honor me and also be able to tell others about the story of the tattoo when asked like I have done with mine. But my daughter sent me this song in a message a week ago, saying a phrase I always have said to them, WE WILL STAND. She said that I will not back down or kiss theirs or anyone else's ass when I know I'm right like I did with them during the four years we didn't talk. She said this song is the song she wants to play March 5th next year at the reception after her wedding, as she calls me out to dance with her father. Tears rolled down my cheeks like a waterfall and I thought the lump in my throat was going to suffocate me. Wow at that moment, I realized and felt it touch my soul. Even though I am a ex Marine Devil Dog, I came to learn that I was finally a man of honor. I know how your Dad felt about you, cause at that moment I felt the peace in my soul, the warmth in my heart, and that no trophy, no awards, a lottery jackpots no matter how much they are, that what my grandmother told me Many many many times after my daughter was born. Don't raise her to learn how to be a lady, raise her to be and treat others like she wants to be treated. I accomplished your saying pawpaw, I love and miss you much. Sorry I rambled on like this, I'll stop and you keep making your father smiling down with those rainbows showing how proud of you he is. May the higher spirit be with you and bless you and yours baby girl! A-HO And Mr. Fisher I have loved your music, since I first heard the first cord of the song KISS AWAY MY GHOST. And BTW, thank you so very much for the video to that song, with the Marine soldier and what many of our military has experienced upon returning from Vietnam and Afghanistan. And I will continually pray for me myself and for all our military, to find someone special enough to kiss away our ghost so the nightmares will go away forever. And this song is the BOMB brother, as my daughter Ashley says that I am 💯% full blooded to the core, INDIAN OUTLAW. Keep putting your heart and that beautiful soul you have, into your music and please brother don't ever sell out to Nashville or mediocre music flam. You are a true American and you definitely can add your name to those like everyone of the highway men, Waylon, David Allan Coe, Merl, my Georgia boys Brantley Gilbert and Jason Aldean, and Travis Tritt. As the no sellout, stand my ground, middle finger waving American country boy who will sing, speak it and show their true colors at all times. Thanks from all us born and raised country boys and girls in Indian Outlaw country down here in 🔥🔥🔥 Georgia. May the higher spirit be with you and yours brother. Thanks for your truthful straight forward music. A-HO
