What seals this scene for me is the behind shot of Adonis running... an unseen runner in a familiar grey hooded sweatsuit. It's a different time, a different place, even a different subculture, but there you have an image of the extent of Rocky's transcendence and a bit of immortality.

At first I thought this was mere coincidence. But this is a technique that Ryan Coogler had used in black panther as well with the use of colors for symbolism. Your comment confirms this technique, Adonis sport the grey tracksuit an homage to Rocky’s tracksuit and the gliding of the red, blue and stripes of white from the bikes almost symbolic of Apollo’s spirit covering Donnie. Wow I’m blown away!!!

It will sound cheesy, but I had corona virus, and ended a three year relationship at the same time. After that I started running and I would use this video’s ost and creed 2 ost while I ran. When I started I could only run 5 minutes. This song helped me through pain. Now I run 6 km at least every time I run. And btw I just started 3 months ago.

This literally was the scene wherein Sylvester Stallone passed the Rocky torch and spirit onto Michael B. Jordan in the roll of Creed. A great nod to Rocky and Rocky II as well. For those who haven't seen the iconic running scenes from the original Rocky films go look at the first two then compare them to this scene! Iconic. Powerful. Rocky is reborn!

Is it super corny that this scene kind of makes me tear up? Hahaha I don't care whatever. This whole set up of the music, the scenery and the passion being exuded is crazy. It really motivates me not in terms of boxing but in general of following your dreams and pushing every single fiber of your being to the limit to reach the pinnacle of your goal. Honestly, Michael B. Jordan was robbed not being noimanted for this movie. The movie is perfectly casted and acted. This is such an iconic scene, I'm happy I'm alive to witness shit like this!
