It wears more like Spice and Wood than Royal Oud though. Fresh and light with a spicy and woody backbone.

I honestly really like it and it's only grown on me more over time. It's literally the perfect gym fragrance. They only thing that is lacking is the performance which makes zero sense considering how powerful and long lasting other fougeres are, ie Beau de Jour.

I agree the opening is cheap and harsh and smells like furniture polish(lemon pledge.) The dry down is wonderful. It's definitely a mature and classic scent style. I don't see it appealing to most guys under 30yo. I still like all versions of Terre D'Hermes better. Not a must buy.

I’m glad you compared it to Terre D’Hermes because I now know not to buy it. I was given TDH as a gift and I gave it to one of my friends because I hated the smell so much 😅

Yeah got in to 3.02 yeah the olny difference between royal oud and the new viking cologne is viking has sander wood instead of oud when I fisrt sprayed it. It was really sweet has the day got better the sent got better. I washed my jumper on that day and I could still spell on the neck part very high quality would recommend it for sure thank you 🙂🙌
