You know I’ve followed this band for a long time. I’m sure you have two I’ve had tickets to them two times in Portland Oregon in the height of their fame and they canceled both times but in 2011 I saw them at the road in Ridgefield Washington and I was in the front row and they were right in front of me and it was unbelievable I’ve read Scott‘s book and even when they were at the height ..you know when they were on top they just kept on injection His vocal cords with steroids. checked him with what is a Cortizone..to have his voice ready every night he’d sit in the tour bus with something over his head and a humidifier. He had surgery his vocal chords and that’s when he sounded not like Staples, not in 2009 Well his voice came back and people were so mean and cruel to him and the whole band ..so sad they are amazing and have tougher do many lives. New people are still discovering them. They’re epic and they will remain timeless even if we don’t get to see them again together😎🎸

Scott Stapp puts a lot into his vocals and performance, and I appreciate it as a fan. Its just one of the reasons Creed is so great. He is very passionate. This guy has monster vocals. He brings intensity, passion, the sweet melodies, the soft vocal lines in a ballad, and then others that just bark right at you in a heavy tone. He pulls them all off with A grade rock quality. There was a period of time when he had the best all round vocals in the rock world. Not the obvious names from that time, it was Scott Stapp.

I frel They hate them because on some level whether they can admit it or not there’s some sort of envy or they’re threatened because truly how many bands do we all know, Rolling Stones, Aerosmith, nirvana, Fleetwood Mac ‘cause I’m that age and every genre actually. I mean across the board that have had their issues within the band and with substance abuses and things like that but no band has been hated more than Creed oh except Nickelback. If the heat haters whatever really listen to their lyrics in their music it’s actually some of the best.. When s new fan or a young new one comes along and hears those words it resonates deeply in soul. Many of the best songwriters write from their own pain. Scott Stapp definitely did with Marn and the whole band… CREED made some epic unforgettable music❤️ You’re right he is amazing live!!🦋
