I wanna know, have you ever seen the rain Comin' down a sunny day? Yesterday and days before Sun is cold and rain is hard - I know Been that way for all my time 'Til forever on it goes Though the circle fast and slow - I know It can't stop, I wonder I wanna know, have you ever seen the rain? Actually the other members thought "they could hit clean up" John knew better but let them have their shot and they didn't cut it. Thats magic of CCR. A sad song yet I can’t help but smile the whole time and feel great. But at times when I feel sad I’m sure I’ll also listen to this song with sad ears. But still feels positive. Sometimes it feels like i lost 1 of my best friends. But ya know what? I wouldnt bring him back if he was gonna be the way he was before because he had epilepsy and he had bad sezuirs idk how to spell that but i love and misws my dad more than anything

I just get thinking about it and think about what im doing rn. I haven't went out to watch stars or anything since he died i really miss doing that stuff. I think thats what i miss the most we would always go in the mountains just walk in and walk for the whole day and he somehow always new where he was going. We always came out of the woods where he said we would. But theres 1 thing for sure he did live a crazy life he wrecked idk how many cars and another reason i wouldnt bring him back is because in the end i know he wasnt happy. Him and my mom got divorced when i was 9 and he attempted suicide but luckily i got a few more years with him ig. One of my mom's all time favorite bands she absolutely loves CCR, but hearing this song these days are starting to break my heart. My mother is getting older and that day is approaching when she has to leave us. So whenever this song plays so many memories come flooding back of her when all of us were a lot younger and we're just in the car blasting CCR on the radio, cruising around town singing our hearts out 😭❤
Man, what can I say that already hasn't been said. At 71 love it. At 81 I'll still sing to CCR.

When I was 19 had a friend and rugby teammate take his life - completely out of the blue. Turns out he was really hurting over a heartbreak and didn't let anyone know about his pain. He was too young to have the perspective that he needed to move on. Steve was about to go off on scholarship to play rugby at uni in the fall of that year and was both a phenomenal athlete and very intelligent and well liked dude. We unknowingly spent his last night alive out with him at some local bars and nightclubs and had a great time. He was in such a good mood that night. Little did we realize it was because he had made peace with it and was just saying goodbye to everyone. We left the bar, he went home and gassed himself in his dad's garage. This song was played at the funeral and you have never seen so many gruff old rugby dudes bawling their eyes out. This kid was such a shining star at our club and was loved by everyone. Even now 30 odd years later I can still vividly remember this song playing and sitting in stunned silence at the funeral as many people wiped away tears. The years that have passed have not dimmed the memories of that day. If you bother to read this and are hurting - please dont isolate yourself and reach out for help - as a life long sufferer of depression myself, I can attest to how many times things that are bringing you down will pass over time and to quote one of my favorite movie's "As bad as things get, they go the other way too".............Rest easy Steve.

I know nothing about you, but I feel the need to reach out to you. My mother was diagnosed with breast cancer when I was about 18 years old. I was the oldest of five children at the time, and still am. I will be 68 this year. I remember reaching out to the Lord and asking that my mother be healed. I knelt down on my bed with my brother and we prayed together. At the time (in the '70s) I knew nothing much about divine healing, just that Jesus not only died for our sins but for our healing too. At the time I was somewhat fearful, not just of my mother dying, but of having to take part in raising my four younger brothers and sisters. (Two of each) Though my mother had surgery, she did recover and lived to be over 80 years old. God is good, and His mercy endures forever. I take this time to pray for you. You will recover, you will live on. God bless you Cassie. I speak life over you. Isaiah 41:10 ‘Do not fear [anything], for I am with you; Do not be afraid, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, be assured I will help you; I will certainly take hold of you with My righteous right hand [a hand of justice, of power, of victory, of salvation].’ Amplified Bible.

I wanna know, have you ever seen the rain? Comin' down on a sunny day [Verse 2] Yesterday, and days before Sun is cold and rain is hard I know, been that way for all my time 'Til forever, on it goes Through the circle, fast and slow I know, it can't stop, I wonder [Chorus] I want to know, have you ever seen the rain? I want to know, have you ever seen the rain? Comin' down on a sunny day Yeah! [Chorus] I want to know, have you ever seen the rain? I want to know, have you ever seen the rain? Comin' down on a sunny day Almost 53 years and this song would never get old!

Me and my twins favorite song. He died on our bday at 24 and I'm gonna be 29 this yr. Another yr without him but I'm stronger and not the weak man I used to be.
