My husband passed away Oct 2023. He had a very sad childhood. He always had the deepest eyes and now when I look back and know it was because he could see the light! Only a few songs make me cry like this one does. Love you and miss you everyday. Thank you for choosing me.

I sure wish I could see the light, but I've never had a home, a house yes, but a home is full of people that care for one another and that I've never known. I pray every night God takes me from this hell. Until that day I'll walk it alone with only God by my side and hope I'm welcomed to the kingdom of Heaven cause I've been through my tribulations and even if God doesn't allow me that I'm not worried bout hell I've been there since the day I was born

I hope I got the name right but this is for Christurner I read your message I to have walked alone through life my name is Nicole I am 57 when I was around 5 I would have to climb out of my bedroom window because of all the fighting and I mean fists and when I was 12 celebrating my 13 birthday back in the 80 my parents moved out of town leaving me behind and there has been so much more that I’ve gone through alone, I had one child I would of liked more but of course my first boyfriend beat me cheated on me and he to moved out of the home that he I and our daughter lived in so once again I’m lost with a child this time I did my best to raise her but when she hit 30 and is now having kids of her own she has decided that I am the worst human on earth and will not allow me to see my grandkids honestly if I new what I have done to deserve this cruel heart wrenching loss it might make it easier to understand so no you are not alone in this shitty world , oh I have 8 siblings but none talk to me never have so I to am alone in this big world and I to pray for relief from all this pain I carry Heavenly Father can not come soon enough for me iether but until that you keep your head high ! I think there is a saying you come in this world alone and you leave alone it is only a illusion that we are not alone ! See you on the other side:) stay strong and happy and kind f&@k everbody take care of #1

This song reminds me of my dad who passed away unexpectedly 2 years ago. He had great taste in music. I grew up with all the best. All the 45's and albums I ruined as a kid. Lol. I turned my dad onto a few great bands too. He loved ccr. Also the old stones, and pink Floyd dark side of the moon. Great taste. And I got him into zeppelin, AC/DC, guns n roses, queen. So needless to say there was always some sort of great music playing on our beautiful stereo system. Music really brings people together. My dad brought me into songs like this. Thank God for that❤

My wife's in labour man. I left her at the hospital this morning, couldn't even kiss her goodbye cause the guards threw me out the door. She texted me earlier...she's in pain. Usually we share everything mate, we've been together since the times we had nothing, we were both poor and together we rose to a more-than-decent living. There were times when I had the munchies for a bloody pear and couldn't afford one so she'd say "nah, I don't need this go get yourself that pear hon'" cause that's how amazing she is. Wish she could share the pain with me now, but I can't even be there with her and I'll see my son in pictures.

@@pcbulai Thank you, for have replied to me. I'm glad you know how much you are doing for me. I'll pray for her, and hope you'll back togheter soon... be strong, 'cause spirit is all a man really has when he's through bad times... wish you and your wife all the best, and hope you'll pass a good Christmas, even if you're not togheter, I hope you'll stay united also in the distance. Remember my friend: love goes through every wall, no matter how many guards or doctors there'll be.

22 years ago today my uncle George passed away at 44. He teached me to listen great music like Beatles and CCR when I was just a little kid. This was his favorite song. I played it every October 28th on his honor.

John Fogerty was and it will be always be in our hearts. He represents one thing: perfection. Period. From the voice to the instruments and to the lyrics, IT IS PERFECT! Good job Fogerty! 👍👍

This song always reminds me of my dad and how we bonded over music. CCR was probably his favorite band, he passed away in Sept. 2013, and I hope he sees the light he left behind!!! Love you, pops! Thank you Creedence.

Grew up with CCR . Young folks today have not a clue what good times are and never will . Thank God for the music of the 60’s and 70’s . I’m 68 now and dealing with colon cancer but I never was cheated if life . Lived through great times .

Please cherish your life partner, care for them, listen to them, talk to them, don't be impatient with them, don't be impulsive or harsh in your reactions with them. On a planet with 8 billion people, they are sharing love with you and that is a miracle.
